Copyright & Trademark Policy
Ownership of the content and marks published on this website, what you may and may not do with them, and how to report infringement.
1. Ownership of content
All content published on www.aquastag.com (the “Website”) is the exclusive property of AQUASTAG Technologies LLP (“the Company”) or its licensors, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Designs Act, 2000, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable international copyright treaties to which India is a signatory.
Protected content includes, without limitation:
- All written copy, including technical descriptions, process explanations, comparative guidance, specifications, frequently asked questions and policy documents;
- The AQUASTAG name, logo, wordmark, droplet-and-stag device, and all associated brand assets;
- Photographs, illustrations, renderings, diagrams, process schematics and video content;
- The design, layout, visual presentation, structure, navigation and arrangement of the Website, and the compilation and selection of its content; and
- Underlying source code, stylesheets, scripts and technical implementation.
The Company asserts its moral rights under Section 57 of the Copyright Act, 1957 in respect of all original works published on the Website.
2. Trademarks
AQUASTAG® is a registered trademark of AQUASTAG Technologies LLP. The mark, together with the AQUASTAG logo and the droplet-and-stag device, constitutes valuable intellectual property of the Company and is actively enforced.
Nothing on the Website should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any trademark, service mark, trade name, logo or device displayed on the Website without the prior written permission of the Company or the relevant third-party proprietor.
The following are expressly prohibited without prior written authorisation:
- Use of the AQUASTAG mark or logo in any business name, trading name, domain name, sub-domain, social media handle, application name or metadata;
- Use of any mark, name or sign that is identical or deceptively similar to the AQUASTAG mark, or which is likely to cause confusion, deception or an association with the Company;
- Registration or attempted registration of the AQUASTAG mark, or any confusingly similar mark, in any jurisdiction or in any class;
- Use of the mark in paid search advertising, keyword bidding, comparative advertising or meta tags in a manner that misrepresents affiliation; and
- Representation of any person as an authorised dealer, distributor, franchisee, agent or service partner of the Company where no such written appointment exists.
Third-party names and marks referred to on the Website, including those of component manufacturers, remain the property of their respective proprietors and are used for identification purposes only.
3. Permitted use
You may view, download to a local device, and print extracts of Website content solely for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of our products and services, provided that:
- No copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice is removed, obscured or altered;
- The content is not modified, adapted, edited or used out of context; and
- The content is not used in any manner suggesting endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship by the Company.
Limited quotation for the purposes of criticism, review or reporting of current events is permitted as fair dealing under Section 52 of the Copyright Act, 1957, provided the extract is brief, is clearly attributed to AQUASTAG Technologies LLP, and is accompanied by a link to the source page.
4. Prohibited use
Except as expressly permitted above, you shall not, and shall not permit any person to:
- Reproduce, republish, distribute, transmit, display, sell, licence, sub-licence or otherwise exploit any Website content for any commercial purpose;
- Copy or substantially imitate the Website copy, structure, layout or design in any competing or comparable website, catalogue, brochure, tender document or marketing material;
- Systematically extract, scrape, harvest, index or mine content by any automated or manual means, including for the purpose of building or populating any database;
- Use any Website content to train, fine-tune, evaluate or otherwise develop any machine learning model, large language model or artificial intelligence system, whether commercial or otherwise, without prior express written consent. The Company expressly reserves all rights in this regard and does not grant any implied licence for text and data mining;
- Create derivative works, translations or adaptations of any Website content; or
- Frame, mirror or inline-link the Website or any part of it so as to present it as the content of another party.
5. User-submitted material
Where you submit material to us — including water analysis reports, drawings, specifications, photographs or written feedback — you warrant that you own or are lawfully entitled to supply that material, and that its use by us will not infringe the rights of any third party.
You grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such material for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, designing and executing your project, and maintaining project records. We will not publish identifiable client material — including testimonials, project photographs or named case references — without your prior consent.
6. Reporting infringement
The Company respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same in return. If you believe that content on this Website infringes your copyright or trademark, or that your rights have otherwise been violated, please notify us in writing.
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints should be addressed to:

A valid notice must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- Identification of the work claimed to have been infringed, with evidence of your ownership or authority to act;
- The precise URL and description of the material claimed to be infringing, sufficient to allow us to locate it;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury; and
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will acknowledge a valid complaint within twenty-four (24) hours and endeavour to dispose of it within fifteen (15) days of receipt. Where a complaint is substantiated, the material will be removed or access to it disabled. We reserve the right to seek clarification, and to decline manifestly unfounded, incomplete or abusive complaints.
7. Enforcement
The Company actively monitors for unauthorised use of its content and marks. Infringement will be pursued through all available civil and criminal remedies under Indian law, including injunctive relief, damages, account of profits, delivery-up, and proceedings under Sections 63 and 64 of the Copyright Act, 1957 and Sections 103 and 104 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
Where infringement is found, the Company reserves the right to recover all legal costs and expenses incurred in enforcement, and to notify hosting providers, domain registrars, search engines and advertising platforms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts and tribunals at Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy or any claim of infringement relating to this Website.
