Domestic RO Purifiers
Multi-stage RO, UV and UF purifiers for homes and offices — specified against your actual tap water rather than sold from a shelf.
Most domestic purifiers are bought on brand and price, then installed without anyone testing what comes out of the tap. That is why so many underperform: a unit configured for municipal water at 200 ppm behaves very differently on a borewell supply at 900 ppm, and one sized for low TDS will simply waste water and wear out early on a hard feed.
We start with your water. A quick TDS and hardness check determines the right configuration — the membrane rating, whether pre-softening is warranted, and whether UV or UF stages add anything for your supply. Where TDS is genuinely low, we say so rather than selling an RO stage that strips minerals you would rather keep.
Every unit is installed properly, with the drain and feed connections made correctly, the tank sanitised and the output tested in front of you. Filter changes and servicing are covered under an AMC so the purifier keeps performing after the first year.

How it works
The process, stage by stage
Move your cursor across this section — the surface responds like water.
Sediment pre-filter
Removes silt, rust and particulate matter that would otherwise foul the carbon block and membrane downstream.
Activated carbon
Adsorbs chlorine, taste and odour compounds and dissolved organics — and protects the RO membrane from oxidation.
RO membrane
Rejects dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses, bringing TDS down to a palatable, safe drinking range.
Polish and mineralise
UV or UF disinfection as required, with a mineral cartridge to restore taste-forming minerals and balance the final water.
Engineering detail
What you get with an AQUASTAG home purifiers system
Configured to your TDS
We test before we specify, so the purifier matches your supply instead of a generic assumption about it.
Mineral retention
A mineral stage returns calcium and magnesium to the permeate, so the water tastes like water rather than flat distillate.
Multi-barrier disinfection
RO plus UV or UF gives redundant protection against microbiological contamination.
Correct installation
Proper feed, drain and mounting, tank sanitisation, and a measured output TDS reading recorded at handover.
Genuine consumables
Filters and membranes to the original specification — the most common cause of a purifier failing early is a cheap replacement cartridge.
AMC from the same team
Scheduled filter changes and sanitisation by the engineers who installed it, not an unrelated subcontractor.

Questions
Home Purifiers — frequently asked
Straight answers, including where this system is not the right choice.
Do I actually need an RO purifier?
It depends entirely on your TDS. Above roughly 500 ppm, RO is the sensible choice. Below about 200 ppm on a municipal supply, a UV or UF system may protect you microbiologically without stripping minerals unnecessarily. We measure first and recommend on the reading, not on what we would prefer to sell.
How often do filters need changing?
Typically every six to twelve months for pre-filters and carbon, with the membrane lasting longer. The real driver is feed water quality and consumption. An AMC schedules changes on your usage rather than an arbitrary calendar date.
Does RO remove useful minerals?
Yes, RO is not selective — it removes beneficial minerals along with contaminants. That is precisely why we fit a mineral cartridge after the membrane, restoring calcium and magnesium and correcting the flat taste that unmineralised RO water has.
Client feedback
What our clients say
Water treatment is bought on trust, because most of what it does is invisible. These are the outcomes our clients describe.
Our borewell was running at 1,150 ppm and the previous plant could not hold output through a full shift. AQUASTAG re-did the pre-treatment before touching the membranes, which nobody else had suggested. Two years on, the permeate is still under 40 ppm and we have not replaced a single element.
We had scale building up in the boiler within weeks of every descaling. They tested the water, showed us the hardness figures and sized the softener against our actual steam load rather than quoting a standard model. Salt consumption came in almost exactly where they said it would.
Every bathroom in the block had yellow-brown staining and the residents were convinced it was the plumbing. AQUASTAG identified dissolved iron in the borewell and installed an iron removal filter ahead of the softener. The staining stopped completely within a fortnight.
